This Rotur Universal Pen Turning Mandrel fits MT1 (Morse Taper 1) lathes. Its adjustable shaft lets you turn either one or two pen parts at a time, and it is supplied with the shaft and spacers for 7mm pen kits, plus cones so it accepts larger pen kits. Made in the UK.

Getting accurate pens

Support the end of the mandrel with a tailstock centre or mandrel support, and avoid over-tightening the nut, as a bent mandrel is the cause of many pen turning problems.
