Mirka Abranet Abrasive Rolls
The long lasting, fantastic quality Mirka Abranet abrasive comes in rolls sized 115mm x 10m, each in an individual grit. One side has a hook and loop backing, so the abrasive can be attached to sanding pads and blocks. They work just as well cut into smaller strips for lathe sanding.

Why Abranet
Abranet is a mesh abrasive. Dust passes through the open mesh rather than clogging the surface, which keeps it cutting for longer, and with dust extraction gives near dust free sanding.
Lathe sanding
Cut the roll into strips sized to suit your hand or a sanding block. Work through the grits in order, removing the scratches from the previous grit before moving on.
Choosing grits
These finer grits, from 240 to 1000, suit final sanding before finishing on wood, and sanding between coats.
