Micro Mesh Pen Finishing Kit
The Micro Mesh Pen Finishing Kit is designed specifically with pen turners in mind. It consists of 9 different, colour coded, foam backed sanding pads measuring approximately 2" x 2", with grits from 1500 through to 12000. Highly recommended for natural woods.

How to use it
After sanding with conventional abrasives, work through the pads in order from 1500 up to 12000. The colour coding makes it easy to follow the sequence. Each step removes the fine scratches from the one before, leaving a smooth surface ready for finish.
Foam backed pads
The foam backing lets the pad follow the curve of a pen barrel, so the pressure stays even and you do not flatten the shape.
Wood or acrylic?
This kit is recommended for natural woods. For acrylics, stabilised woods and CA finishes, choose the Micro Mesh Acrylic Pen Finishing Kit.
