The Flexcut Knife Strop & Compound (PW14) has an 8" x 2" leather stropping surface, designed exclusively for stropping and keeping your knife blades razor sharp. It includes a 1 ounce bar of Flexcut Gold Polishing Compound.

How to use it
Rub the bar of gold polishing compound onto the leather surface of the strop, so it adheres. Then simply strop your knife blade away from the cutting edge on both sides to maintain your factory edge. The strop can be clamped to the bench or held in the hand.
Why strop your knives
Stropping polishes the edge and removes the fine burr that forms as you carve, so a knife stays sharp for longer between sharpening sessions. It only takes a few strokes, and is best done little and often.
