Delivery

UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.

DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.

DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery 
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.

Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours. 

You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.

We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.

Heavy Machinery

Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.

OVERSEAS ORDERS
We are not currently sending overseas due to the large number of delays and parcels going missing. You can use a mail forwarding service.

It is well suited to anyone with a limited budget or only enough space enough for a small lathe. The AW240WL woodturning lathe features five spindle speeds, giving a useful range between 760 and 3,200rpm. It has a maximum bowl turning capacity of 240mm diameter and a spindle turning capacity of 440mm between centres. The headstock, bed and tailstock are constructed of heavy cast iron, minimising vibration. The 375W induction motor has more than enough power for the lathe’s capacities and any projects that are likely to be undertaken. Both the headstock spindle and tailstock barrel take 2MT accessories, with the spindle nose having a 1" x 8tpi thread. The tailstock also has a hollow barrel to enable long hole boring. Supplied with Axminster drive and revolving tailstock centres, 75mm diameter faceplate and 150mm tool rest. N.B. The distance between centres will vary slightly dependent on the type of centres or accessories used.
