UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.
DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.
DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.
Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours.
You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.
We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.
Heavy Machinery
Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.

OVERSEAS ORDERS

The Axminster Professional AP330ST thicknesser has a lot going for it - it's a well constructed and thoughtfully designed machine with a solid feel about it.

Capacity & Cutting
Capacities are excellent, with a maximum width of up to 330mm by 152mm deep. It is capable of removing up to 3.2mm in one pass (we would recommend taking off less if running at full width). The folding extension tables are easy to adjust for initial set-up.
The AP330ST comes with a spiral cutter block fitted with 26 double edged HSS spur cutters, extensively tested to easily cope with most timbers - the cutters are very sharp, and a secondary bevel prolongs their life. The finish is super smooth, with almost no requirement for sanding. This type of block is noticeably quieter and puts less load on the motor, and the waste chips are small, so they won't clog your extractor hose even if using a vacuum type.
Adjustment & Extraction
Extraction has two outlet options, either 100mm or 63mm (a blanking plug is supplied for the unused outlet), and is very effective with only a few stray chips escaping. Rise and fall is super smooth via a handwheel on the right hand side, with a depth gauge on the front. The AP330ST also has eight pre-set depth stops: 3.2mm, 6.35mm, 12.7mm, 19mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38mm and 44.5mm. Engaging the Snipe Lock helps reduce snipe by locking the cutterhead into position.
Storage & Convenience
The front of the machine features a depth of cut gauge, which allows you to determine and set the exact amount you wish to take off. The left hand side features a handy tool storage compartment and a neat cable tidy. The AP330ST is an excellent addition to any workshop or job site.
