ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate

ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate makes the water corrosion inhibitant and protects your diamond grinding wheels from rusting. The anti-corrosion concentrate is always used for wet sharpening with diamond grinding wheels. It won't harm your regular grindstones if you have it in the water, so you can keep treated water if you want to switch between a diamond grinding wheel and a grindstone, and then back again.

How to Use ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate

ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate is used when wet sharpening with any of Tormek's diamond grinding wheels, such as the DF-250 Diamond Wheel Fine or DF-200 Diamond Wheel Fine. You can also use it with a grindstone without problems, so you don't have to discard it when switching from a diamond grinding wheel to a grindstone and back again – you'll still have corrosion-inhibiting water when you return to your diamond wheel.

Add 10 ml (0.02 pints) of concentrate to 250 ml (0.4 pints) of water (~4%). The bottles come with a measuring scale for easy dosing. Mix the concentrate and water, then pour into the water trough. If you want to save the mixture overnight, always lower or remove the water trough so that your grinding wheel doesn't sit in the water more than necessary. Please note that ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate doesn't contain antifreeze.
