Not for the faint hearted but could be worthwhile.

This is not an easy project and using metric "almost" equivalents doesn't always work. I would suggest a practise run on cheaper wood to begin with is advisable to teach what imperial units can be tweaked and those that can't.
Bearing in mind how tall the mill is that you go for, you will need to bore a 27 mm hole through 80-90% of its length and an auger is a much better tool for this purpose on some of the taller versions than the Forstner bit called for in the instructions.
One other factor throughout the project is "consistent centering". With the number of times re-mounting is called for, this is something I had trouble with using the limited kit I have available and ended up using home-made jam-chucks.
However, once you get past all the project's quirks and challenges, the results can be impressive and more than deserving of a gentle, self congratulatory pat-on-the-back.
