About wet stone sharpening
A wet stone sharpener turns slowly with the stone running through water, so the edge never overheats and loses its temper. Combined with the right jig, it gives a precise, repeatable edge on everything from turning and carving tools to knives and plane irons, and the leather honing wheel then polishes the edge to finish.
