About carbide turning tools
Carbide tipped tools use a replaceable cutter instead of a ground edge, so there is no sharpening jig to set up. When the edge dulls, the tip can often be loosened and rotated to a fresh section, and replaced completely when it is worn out.
Fitting
Undo the screw with the hex key, fit the new tip to the seat on the tool, and tighten the screw firmly.
