The Record Power 68mm faceplate ring (62571) is ideal for holding small to medium bowl blanks, and its strong hold also makes it suitable for more out of balance timber. It is held in the chuck using the standard 40mm jaw set supplied with both the SC1 and SC2 mini chucks.

How a faceplate ring works
Screw the ring to the face of the blank, then grip the ring in the chuck with the 40mm standard jaws. This gives the security of a faceplate with the convenience of a chuck.
