UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.
DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.
DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.
Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours.
You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.
We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.
Heavy Machinery
Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.
You will see the charge in your cart (or use the shipping calculator) - We have been able to obtain discounted rates for some of our heavy machinery - These are shown as a badge on the product category pages.
OVERSEAS ORDERS
We are not currently sending overseas due to the large number of delays and parcels going missing. You can use a mail forwarding service.

Thicknesser DH 40
Load bearing components are all made of die-cast aluminium, with milled seats for bearings and spindles.
These characteristics are essential for vibration-free, smooth thicknessing of soft and hard woods. Triple-spindled table (of die-cast aluminium, flat-milled) which can be accurately adjusted to 1/10mm by handwheel (zero adjustable). Automatic even feed with anti-kickback device: The knurled, spring-mounted infeed roller transports even irregularly shaped work pieces. A rubber-coated outfeed roller prevents marking the newly planed surface. Precision planer block with two HSS planer blades.

230V. 200W. 50/60Hz. Thicknessing up to 40mm thick and up to 80mm wide. Maximum depth of cut 0.8mm. Cutter speed 6,000rpm. Feed rate 4.8m/ min. Table length 232mm. Weight approx. 8kg.
Note:
Minute splinters can influence the usefulness of planed wood. Precision is even more important when working in miniature. The thicknesser DH 40 allows clean thicknessing as from 1.0mm material (in combination with an under-layer and double-sided adhesive tape).
