The EXMAC A200 impresses with its solid construction featuring massive cast iron tables that are unbeatable in this class and a unique cutterhead with offset 4-sided carbide (HW) indexable inserts.

The swiveling angle stop allows for edges from 90° to 45°. The overall length of the cast iron tables is 770 mm and can be extended to 1,350 mm with the integrated table extensions.

Planing shaft with HW (carbide) indexable inserts (4-sided use!):

The advantage of this carbide reversible cutterhead over conventional strip cutterheads lies not only in its long cutting edge life, but also in the fact that no fine adjustments are necessary when changing planer knives. This naturally saves time and eliminates tedious adjustment work. Repeatability, and therefore precision, is a significant advantage of HW indexable inserts. If an insert is damaged, it is sufficient to replace only that one insert, rather than potentially replacing all the blades, as would be the case with a planer cutterhead. For woodworkers who value precise and efficient machining of their workpieces, planer shafts with carbide inserts are an excellent choice. The four-sided, replaceable carbide inserts reduce downtime and protect machine components.
