Delivery

UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.

DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.

DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery 
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.

Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours. 

You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.

We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.

Heavy Machinery

Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.

You will see the charge in your cart (or use the shipping calculator) - We have been able to obtain discounted rates for some of our heavy machinery - These are shown as a badge on the product category pages.

OVERSEAS ORDERS
We are not currently sending overseas due to the large number of delays and parcels going missing. You can use a mail forwarding service.

• Small router plane for detail and inlay work • Most useful for cleaning out hinge or lock plate housings • Clean the bottom of grooves, dadoes and housings • Use with open or closed throat (simply reverse the blade) • Supplied with a 6.35mm wide cutterAs handy and useful as they come. The Axminster Workshop 271 small router plane is perfect for smoothing the bottom of grooves, dadoes and housings. These days it can be found most often cleaning out hinge or lock plate housings. The cutter locks in position with a brass thumb screw, which has a screwdriver slot for an extra tweak. The cutter can be positioned either facing the open mouth which gives a better view for stopped grooves or inlay work. Alternatively, it can be used facing the closed mouth for better support in normal work. The base size is 105mm x 58mm, supplied with a 6.35mm cutter. The cutter is O1 steel and requires honing before use. This router plane represents a good standard in traditional hand tools and great value.
