Delivery

UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.

DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.

DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery 
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.

Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours. 

You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.

We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.

Heavy Machinery

Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.

You will see the charge in your cart (or use the shipping calculator) - We have been able to obtain discounted rates for some of our heavy machinery - These are shown as a badge on the product category pages.

OVERSEAS ORDERS
We are not currently sending overseas due to the large number of delays and parcels going missing. You can use a mail forwarding service.

The AW386WL shares many features in common with more expensive machines. The powerful motor runs quietly. It features variable speed control, over three belt ranges (easily changed). The switchbox/controller is magnetic, allowing you to position it anywhere on the machine bed for convenience. The headstock swivels for better access when turning bowls or hollow forms, and slides along the bed for turning off the end. Headstock adjustments are easy and tool free. The tailstock has plenty of ram travel, the graduated barrel helps when drilling to a required depth. Overall the lathe is cast iron construction with well ground surfaces for smooth operation. Supplied with centres and leg stand.
