UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.
DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.
DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.
Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours.
You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.
We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.
Heavy Machinery
Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.
You will see the charge in your cart (or use the shipping calculator) - We have been able to obtain discounted rates for some of our heavy machinery - These are shown as a badge on the product category pages.
OVERSEAS ORDERS
We are not currently sending overseas due to the large number of delays and parcels going missing. You can use a mail forwarding service.

Axminster AT406WL/AT1628VS Bed Extension Kit
A very worthwhile addition to the AP406WL and AT1628VS lathes, this 460mm bed extension kit will increase the capacity of your lathe in two ways. Heavy cast iron construction gives stability and vibration damping, and it simply bolts onto the end of the lathe bed.

- Increases swing over bed to 870mm in lower position
It can be bolted to the existing lathe bed for a greater between centres capacity, or if you have the lathe fitted to the purpose-made leg stand, it will bolt onto the leg stand in a lower position. With the supplied tool rest extension post, this enables you to turn bowls or platters up to 870mm.
