American Cherry Bowl Blanks (Square)

American Cherry bowl blanks

Create an individual piece with these American Cherry square bowl blanks from Greenvill Crafts. Each blank has its own grain pattern and natural character, giving you a starting point for a bowl that is distinctly yours.

Choosing the orientation of the grain and shaping the profile are part of the pleasure of turning. As your bowl takes shape, the timber's individual markings become part of the design, whether you favour a simple silhouette or a more decorative form.

Key Features

• Timber: American Cherry.
• Format: square blanks for bowl-turning projects.
• Individual grain: natural variations make each blank different.
• Choice of sizes: three options to help you plan your next project.
• Measurements: approximate dimensions, stated in inches.

Available Sizes

Choose from the following approximate sizes, shown as length × width × thickness:

• 6 × 6 × 2 inches
• 8 × 8 × 2 inches
• 10 × 10 × 2 inches

These are the dimensions of the square blank, not the finished bowl. Allow for material removed when preparing, shaping and finishing your turning, as well as your chosen mounting method.

Plan a Shape That Suits the Blank

The square format gives you material to work with as you develop your bowl's outline. Select a size that suits your intended design, bearing in mind that the finished diameter and depth will be smaller than the starting blank.

Every Piece Is Different

The product image is for illustration purposes only. Natural timber varies in grain, colour and markings, so the blank you receive will not look exactly like the example shown. These differences give each finished bowl its own character rather than an identical, repeated appearance.

All dimensions are approximate. Please select your preferred size from the available options before ordering.
