Delivery

UK DELIVERY
We use DPD to deliver the majority of our parcels in mainland UK.

DPD delivery is typically charged at a flat rate of £5.99 inc VAT this will be confirmed in your shopping cart prior to placing your order. (This is a subsidised price, we pay more than this). You can add many products to your cart and this rate will not change.

DPD offer a next day delivery - This is a next working day delivery 
and does not include weekends. Next day delivery is not guaranteed. Occasionally DPD may deliver your order on a Saturday or Sunday.

Where DPD do not service your delivery area, we use Royal Mail.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 aims to deliver within 2-3 days, Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver with 24 hours. 

You will see these charges in your shopping cart once you have entered your address.

We reserve the right to use alternative postal providers as and when necessary.

Heavy Machinery

Items over 30KG have to be sent via a Pallet delivery service. The rates change based on the weight of the pallet and your location.

You will see the charge in your cart (or use the shipping calculator) - We have been able to obtain discounted rates for some of our heavy machinery - These are shown as a badge on the product category pages.

OVERSEAS ORDERS
We are not currently sending overseas due to the large number of delays and parcels going missing. You can use a mail forwarding service.

The vice is for professional use with a quick release trigger for speedy jaw adjustment. The jaws are drilled and ready to receive your own hardwood liners, and the front jaw sports an adjustable 'dog'. A bench is just a wooden table until you fit a decent vice. These vices will make you and your bench look like true professionals even if it is only in the evenings and at weekends. The vices are available in three jaw widths: 175mm(7”) opening to 195mm(7.3/4”), 225mm(9”) opening to 250mm(10”) and 266mm(10.1/2") opening to 300mm. All are equipped with an adjustable front dog. The jaws have an intentional ‘toe-in’ for maximum pressure transfer - the jaw is tilted inwards. Because the force/pressure is perpendicular to the toe-in angle this feature, found on many woodworking devices and clamps, helps to avoid the problems of racking (the tendency of the wood and the bar to bend upwards when under pressure). Lifetime Warranty* If any vice fails due to a material or manufacturing defect it will be replaced free of charge.
