Most woodturners in Yorkshire will have heard of and/or visited Snainton Woodworking Supplies, near Scarborough over the years. Snainton are well known and extremely well respected in the woodturning industry.
The family owners of Snainton have decided to retire and are to close the business with an expected closure date to be 6th April 2023. We wish them all the best for their well earned retirement.
Whilst we have some way to go to reach the standard and size of Snainton, we are aiming to fill the void created from our shop located in Harrogate.
Greenvill Crafts have been online for a number of years and more recently opened our shop at Killinghall in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. We have specialised in two areas historically; pen turning, having a large range of pen kits & blanks and ring making - We stock thousands of rings for turners and crafts people.
We are proud to announce that we will soon be a registered stockist of the top quality Robert Sorby range of woodturners tools, along with the ProEdge tool sharpener.
Shortly we will also be stocking our first lathes, these will be from the Teknatool brand, Nova Lathes.
We already stock bowl blanks and will be increasing this to include spindle blanks, slabs and more. We will stock a range of European/British woods along with exotic woodturning blanks from America & Africa etc.
