Learn woodturning with a professional woodturner, a great experience day or lessons to improve your existing skills. We have multiple Record Power Coronet Herald lathes and an Axminster Tools lathe setup in our fully fitted out classroom.
Whether you are a beginner looking to learn a new skill or already a turner, you will find our turning lessons a great experience. 1 day or 2 day courses are available in our fully insured woodturning class workshop. For some courses half day or full day options are available, along with groups of up to three or one to one with our woodturning tutor.

Our full day woodturning courses start at 10am and finish at 4pm. During this time, participants will engage in fully interactive and hands on sessions designed to enhance their skills and knowledge.
We break for a short lunch (Please bring a packed lunch). Light refreshments will also be available throughout the day to keep everyone energised.
By the end of the course, attendees will have gained practical insights and tools they can immediately apply in their home workshops. We encourage questions ensuring that everyone leaves feeling informed and inspired.
At the end of the day, typically our turners retreat into the shop to browse and maybe pick up a nice timber blank ready to practice their new skills at home.
